Saint Nicholas arrives
to Atlanta on
December 16, 2023!
Each year, GoBYK starts the holiday season by sitting down with Saint Nicholas and telling him all of our wishes, and this year will be no different.
This year Saint Nicholas will help us celebrate all that is good with a cocoa party. There will be treats, crafts, dancing, games, prizes and all the photo opportunities you desire. So bring the children to party and enjoy some Cocoa with Saint Nicholas. This event is perfect for children of all ages, however specifically designed for those 2-10 years old.
There will definitely be time for the children to tell Saint Nicholas all about how the year has been going and the well wishes they share for others, and don't forget about their special Christmas wish.
Registration is $35 per child under 13 and the accompanying adult(s) is/are free.
Cocoa with Saint Nicholas will be held at
Log Cabin Community Church
(located in the Vinings Community)
2699 Log Cabin Drive, SE
Smyrna, GA 30080
Arrival between 1-3 on Saturday, December 16, 2023 will allow enough time for a complete experience.
*All proceeds go to the support of our Black History Camp as well as scholarships to attend the camp.
The History of Saint Nicholas
The story of Santa Clause begins with Saint Nicholas, a moor, born in the third century. Saint Nicholas lost his parents at a young age and was left a large inheritance which he used to help the sick, the poor and those in need. Because of his generosity, he became known for caring for ships, sailors, and children. Through the years, the acts of Saint Nicholas came to be interwoven and interchangeable with those of Santa Clause, Father Christmas, and Kris Kringle.
GoBYK is proud to bring your children Cocoa with Saint Nicholas again this year as our annual fundraiser honors the traditions of the season.
This holiday experience will be like none other, so book your reservation today. We look forward to seeing you again this year.
