Each year, GoBYK starts the holiday season by sitting down with Saint Nicholas and telling him all of our wishes, and this year will be no different.
Each year Saint Nicholas helps us celebrate all that is good with a festive and fun breakfast event. There is always great food, fun crafts, dancing, games and all the photo opportunities you desire.
There is always time for the children to tell Saint Nicholas about how the year has been going and the well wishes they share for others, and don't forget about their special Christmas wish.
So bring the children to enjoy some intimate time with Saint Nicholas. This is an annual fundraiser perfect for the family, however specifically designed for those 2-12 years old.
Breakfast with Saint Nicholas will be held at
1705West
(located at the office of MOWA)
1705 Commerce Dr NW

The story of Santa Clause begins with Saint Nicholas, a moor, born in the third century. Saint Nicholas lost his parents at a young age and was left a large inheritance which he used to help the sick, the poor and those in need. Because of his generosity, he became known for caring for ships, sailors, and children. Through the years, the acts of Saint Nicholas came to be interwoven and interchangeable with those of Santa Clause, Father Christmas, and Kris Kringle.
GoBYK is proud to bring your children Breakfast With Saint Nicholas each year as our annual fundraiser to honor the traditions of the season.
This holiday experience will be like none other, so be sure to book your reservation early. We look forward to seeing you again this year.
2024 allowed us to get back to the kid friendly elegance that we intended. We hosted the affair at 1705West and collected canned goods for Meals On Wheels Atlanta. Thank you to our Onyx Sponsors C. Miner, Dr & Mrs M. Elam, S. Shannon & K. Lofton, T. Hardy, M. Anthony Salon, S. Austin, and A. Hines.
Still testing the social waters, Cocoa with St. Nicholas was a full fledged holiday party with music, games and sweets. The children had a ball and enjoyed the face painting and cocoa bar. St. Nicholas was happy to see so many familiar faces.
We finally go together in person, but distanced for Cocoa With St. Nicholas. Each family had a dedicated appointmment with St. Nicholas. There were several vignettes set up around the room so that the parents could take all the pictures they desired.
St. Nicholas gave each child a bucket of goodies.
The Covid quarantine kept us from gathering in person for two years, but that did not stop the tradition we established. We shifted from breakfast to Cocoa With St. Nicholas. Each child received a gift box delivered to their home that was filled with goodies and a Cocoa With St. Nicholas cocoa mug. Each family received a special Zoom time with St. Nicholas.
Our second year was just as fantastic as the first year. We were definitely on to something with this annual event. The children and parents arrived hungry and dressed in their holiday best. St. Nicholas gave each child an ornament of his buddy, Santa Clause.
GoBYK hosted its first Breakfast With St. Nicholas in 2018. The joy on the children's faces when they first saw St. Nicholas was priceless. The children received a beautifully decorated cookie that looked like who else but St. Nicholas himself.
